    Conditional Sentence কি?

একটি Conditional sentence- দু'টি provision থাকে: নির্ভরশীল statement টি শর্ত বোঝায় এবং প্রধান proviso টি প্রেক্ষাপট বোঝায়। 

এদেরকে 'if provisos'- বলা হয়।

 

A Conditional sentence contains two provisions: the reliant proviso communicates the condition, 

and the principle statement communicates the outcomes. They are otherwise called 'if statements'.

 


  There are four kinds of Conditionals:

 

1.The Zero Conditionals


2.The First Conditionals


3.The Second Conditionals and


4.The Third Conditionals



 The Zero Conditionals:


একটি zero restrictive sentence দুটি present  tense/action  words/tenses নিয়ে গঠিত হয় (একটি 'if provision' এবং অপরটি "মূল statement')


Zero Conditional Sentence সাধারণ সত্য এবং অভ্যাস বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটা তখনও ব্যবহৃত হয় যখন ফলাফলটি সবসময়ই হবে।


 A zero contingent sentence can be made with two present basic action words/tenses (one is the 'if provision' and another is the 'principle statement').


It is utilized to communicate general certainties and propensities. 


This contingent is likewise utilized when the outcome will consistently occur.



Structure:

On the off chance that + present basic . . . . . + present straightforward.


Models:

 On the off chance that it downpours, water ascends in the lake.


On the off chance that you heat water, it bubbles.

 The First Conditional:


First Conditional সাধারণত 'if'- এর পরে একটি present straightforward tense এবং তারপর একটি future basic provision থাকে। 


এই রকম restrictive সাধারণত ভবিষ্যতে হতে পারে এমনকিছু বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় কিন্তু পুরোপুরি নিশ্চিত নয়। এটা সম্ভাব্য ঘটনা বর্ণনা করে।


A first restrictive sentence contains a current basic tense after 'in the event that', and afterward a future straightforward condition.

Structure:

on the off chance that + present basic, ........will + infinitive



Model:


On the off chance that it rains today, I'll not go to the market.

 The Second Conditional:

 

After 'in the event that' it utilizes the straightforward past tense, and afterward 'would' and the infinitive.


Second Conditional 'if'- এর পর past straightforward tense ব্যবহার করা হয় এবং তারপর 'would' এবং infinitive ব্যবহার করা হয়।


 Structure:

 

in the event that + past straightforward, ........would + infinitive

 

আনুষ্ঠানিক লেখায় I/he/she-এর সাথে 'was'- এর পরিবর্তে 'were' ব্যবহার করতে হবে। Second Conditional এর দুটি ব্যবহার আছে:

 

(In formal composition, you should utilize 'were' rather than 'was' with I/he/she. It has two employments)

 Second Conditional সাধারণত ভবিষ্যতের কোন ঘটনা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা সত্য হবার কোন সম্ভাবনা নেই। "হতে পারতো কিন্তু আসলে হয়নি" অর্থ প্রদান করে এই contingent গুলো। 



Model:

 In the event that I won the lottery, I would support poor people.

 

In the event that I met the executive, I would embrace her.

 

In the event that he buckled down, he would sparkle throughout everyday life.

 

2. This structure additionally can be utilized to discuss something in the current that is unimaginable as it isn't accurate.

 

Second Conditional এর structure বর্তমানের কোন ঘটনা যা অসম্ভব বা সত্য নয় তা বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে। যেমন:



Model:


On the off chance that I had his location, I would go to meet him.

 

On the off chance that I were You, I could never go out with him.

 

On the off chance that I had a plane, I would venture to every part of the entire world.

 


 The Third Conditional:


Third Conditional 'if'- এর পর past impeccable tense এবং তারপর 'would have' এবং sentence-এর দ্বিতীয় অংশে past participle ব্যবহার করে।

 

After 'on the off chance that' it utilizes the past immaculate tense, and afterward 'would have' and the past participle in the second piece of the sentence.


 

Structure:

1.if + past great, ........would + have + past participle

2.had+sub+ past participle,...........would + have + past participle

Third Conditional সাধারণত অতীত সম্পর্কে কথা বলে এবং এমন একটি ঘটনা বর্ণনা করে যা ঘটেনি এবং ঘটনাটির ফলাফল কল্পনা করে।



 Model:

 

On the off chance that I had been in your position, I would not have gone there.


On the off chance that you had driven quick, you wouldn't have missed the gathering.

 

On the off chance that he had left the spot, he would have purchased the royal residence.
